Hello everyone, and welcome back to the Colombian Tulip! In the past weeks I started to rethink the original meaning of this blog and decided that it was time to make a reboot of it. It started as a platform to share experiences and opinions of Colombian professionals in the Netherlands. But that was already 3 years ago. Now I think I am looking for something more, and that is to be able to tell beautiful stories about other Colombians, everywhere. Stories that inspire me and that hopefully will also inspire you. But also combine it with some of the things that I like doing, like exploring new cities, innovation projects in Colombia, do some interesting cultural exchange between Colombia and the Netherlands, and...(insert your idea or suggestion here).
Shortly after I started this project, I understood how difficult was to find interesting content for a blog, especially in today´s world where there is so much content around us. I suddenly felt too busy and tired with other things to take the time to write about my life in the Netherlands and I let time pass by...and pass...even a pandemic started...and after almost 3 years, I decided I missed this. I missed the opportunity of sharing with others the things I like and enjoy learning and doing. For those who don´t know, I´m an urban planner and designer, and to be able to think and make pieces of a city, I need to also have very good ideas, not only about design but also about economic and cultural trends, local initiatives, innovation, mobility, sustainability, etc.
